On August 29th, the observation activity for the commencement of major industrial projects in Jiangbei New Area in August was held. Lu Weidong, the Party Secretary of Jiangbei New Area and the Party Secretary of Pukou District, led a team to visit the construction sites of major projects and listened to the reports from various sectors and units on their efforts to advance projects, compete in project starts, attract investment and boost the economy. New district leaders Yuan Chuanjun, Wang Wei, He Jinxue, Zhou Qin, Chen Wenbin, Tao Lei and Xu Zhengkai attended the event.
At the event site, the Economic Development Bureau reported on the overall situation of the newly started projects in August and the implementation of the “Project Construction Action”. The responsible units of each project respectively reported on the situation of the newly started projects and their plans for the next steps.
This year, 166 major industrial projects implemented in the new district in the current year have completed an investment of 16.29 billion yuan, with an investment completion rate of 72.41%, exceeding the scheduled progress by 5.75 percentage points. A total of 42 major industrial projects in various provinces and cities completed an investment of 9.92 billion yuan, with an investment completion rate of 80.2%, exceeding the scheduled progress by 13.5 percentage points.
Lu Weidong emphasized that it is necessary to enhance the geological efficiency of project attraction and implementation, continuously improve the ability to analyze and judge, and the spirit of taking responsibility. For high-quality projects, we should keep a close eye on them and make decisive decisions to accelerate the signing and implementation. We should accelerate the commencement of project construction, provide proactive services for major industrial projects, continuously increase pressure and forge ahead, tighten the chain of responsibility, and spare no effort to ensure the full completion of the annual project construction targets. We should actively seize the opportunities of supportive policies, focus on the reserve of major projects, closely follow the policy support directions such as “two major”, “two new”, and special bonds, and earnestly do a good job in all aspects of early preparation, early planning, and procedure handling, and strive to strengthen the early preparation of projects and improve the overall reserve quality.
After the observation activity, the groundbreaking ceremony for the Four-Dimensional Digital (Nanjing) Smart Innovation Center project in the Digital Trade Port was also held. The total investment of this project is 850 million yuan, with a total scale of approximately 160,000 square meters. It will build a research and development building, apartments, a digital product exhibition and application center, and focus on fields such as artificial intelligence, big data, cloud computing, and the Internet of Things. It will also concentrate on directions such as digital trade, digital finance, digital cultural creativity, and intelligent manufacturing, attracting research and development institutions and upstream and downstream enterprises to gather and carry out core technology research and development. Create smart application scenarios and build a collaborative innovation platform for academia, research, industry and application.
The Four-Dimensional Digital (Nanjing) Innovation Center project of Shumao Port will effectively revitalize the existing construction land, provide carrier support for the industrial development and service facilities of the Biomedical Valley area, and further expand the new urban interface of “mutual promotion and integrated development of industry and city”. At the same time, relying on the resource advantages of the Digital Trade Port Investment Group and Nanjing Siwei Digital Power Automation Co., LTD., efforts will be made to promote the aggregation of emerging industries such as low-altitude economy, artificial intelligence, and digital trade, introduce high-end talents and highly skilled personnel, and continuously enhance the carrying capacity, competitiveness, and attractiveness of regional development.
Yangzi Petrochemical’s styrene-butadiene rubber Product Upgrading and Transformation Project
Based on the existing technology and equipment of the rubber factory, the project will renovate a 50,000-ton/year high-solid-content styrene-butadiene rubber latex (equivalent to 35,000 tons/year of dry rubber) production line. After its completion and commissioning, it is expected to add an additional output value of approximately 140 million yuan.
Phase I of the Guangjian Steel Slag Treatment Project
The project relies on the collaborative innovation of industry, academia and research with institutions and universities such as the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing University of Chemical Technology, Beijing University of Technology and Chongqing University, to overcome technical barriers such as online reconstruction of steel slag and precise composition detection, and promote the resource utilization of steel slag and the efficient utilization of waste heat.
The DeepSeek Large Model Application Research and Development Base Project of Beiming Software
The project focuses on a large model application research and development base in vertical fields, independently developing knowledge injection solutions for fields such as politics and law, government affairs, and healthcare, to address the issue of insufficient professionalism in general large models.
Beslan Semiconductor Filter Project
The project will build a semiconductor filter production workshop, office space, a research and development center and supporting facilities, etc. After completion and reaching full production capacity, it is expected to produce over 100,000 pieces of photoresist filtration, ultra-pure water filtration, CMP paste filtration, special gas filtration and other filtration products for the electronics industry annually, with an annual sales revenue of 150 million yuan.
Research and development of intelligent electrical equipment systems and high-end equipment manufacturing projects
The project will build two new intelligent production lines, focusing on the research and development of intelligent electrical equipment systems and the manufacturing of high-end equipment. Relying on production line technology, we will overcome key technologies such as automatic control and data interaction, develop highly stable and highly adaptable systems, and provide integrated services from product supply to technical support.
Kangyou Medical’s R&D and industrialization Project of Cryoablation equipment
The project will purchase vacuum welding furnaces, laser welding machines, helium mass spectrometry leak detectors, laser detectors, radiographic detectors and other equipment, and develop and produce tumor cryoablation treatment equipment and supporting devices. It can achieve an annual production capacity of 100 cryoablation devices and 10,000 cryoablation instruments.
