On November 12th, the signing ceremony for the second phase project of Inovance Technology’s Nanjing base was held in Jiangning Development Zone, aiming to build Inovance Technology’s largest robot industrial base in the country. This is a deepening and upgrading of the cooperation between Jiangning Development Zone and Inovance Technology, which will inject strong impetus into the accelerated development of Nanjing’s high-end equipment manufacturing industry and the creation of a national intelligent manufacturing pilot demonstration zone. Zhu Xingming, the chairman of Inovance Technology, said, “I have been associated with Nanjing for 10 years. Headquartered in Shenzhen, Inovance Technology is a leading enterprise in China’s industrial automation control field. Currently, its market value is approximately 200 billion yuan, and its business segments cover general automation, new energy vehicles, smart elevators, industrial robots, rail transit and other areas. Among them, it holds the top domestic market share in servo motors, and ranks among the top in industrial robots and industrial software in China.
In July 2021, Inovance Technology “joined” Jiangning Development Zone, and the first phase project of its Nanjing base was signed. It mainly engages in the research and development and production of industrial robots and related products. The base started construction in April 2022, with the goal of building a regional benchmark factory, covering 8 intelligent manufacturing workshops and 1 national-level laboratory. In April this year, the first phase of the project was completed and put into operation. On the very day of operation, Inovance Technology announced that it would “step up its efforts” and sign a new contract for the R&D and testing center project.
Half a year later, to meet the rapidly growing demand for production capacity, Inovance Technology once again brought a “generous gift” to Nanjing and “joined hands” with Jiangning Development Zone, announcing that the second phase of the project would be built right next to the first phase
The second-phase project mainly focuses on the research and development and production of key precision components for industrial robots, as well as products such as guide rails and lead screws, to form Inovance Technology’s multi-product combination solution capabilities and build Inovance Technology’s largest robot industrial base in the country.
This year marks the fourth year that Jiangning and Inovance Technology have been walking hand in hand. The friendship between the two sides has been continuously deepened and expanded through cooperation. Looking back on the process of project implementation, the Nanjing base project of Inovance Technology was advanced in a “running” mode of “production and construction simultaneously”. Just two months after the start of construction in 2022, Huichuan Technology, under the coordination of Jiangning Development Zone, moved into an existing office building to “start work ahead of schedule”, and achieved tax revenue in the same year of construction.
“We just completed the commissioning ceremony of the first phase in April this year. We never expected to sign the contract for the second phase in November!” ” Zhu Xingming said happily at the signing ceremony, “We act very quickly. Once we choose Nanjing, we will make large-scale investments!”
Why does Inovance Technology keep investing? Zhu Xingming believes it stems from “three things”.

It is expected that within the year, it will form three industrial clusters each worth over 200 billion yuan, namely new power, software, and high-end intelligent equipment, as well as three industrial clusters each worth over 100 billion yuan, namely new-generation information and communication, new energy vehicles, and new energy conservation and environmental protection. The total industrial output value of designated-size enterprises is expected to exceed 500 billion yuan.
