Recently, Xiaobei learned from Dingshan Sub-district that after 79 days of day and night efforts, the first phase of the Dingshan Digital Intelligence Industrial Park project has reached a key milestone – the main structures of five high-standard factory buildings have been successfully capped.
This project is jointly promoted and constructed by Dingshan Sub-district, the New District Science and Technology Investment Group, and the New District Public Construction Center. The industrial park will focus on industrial directions such as precision instruments, electronic information and high-performance medical equipment, attract a number of advanced manufacturing and production service enterprises, and inject strong impetus into the industrial transformation and upgrading of Dingshan Sub-district.
Between the two main roads stands a new industrial landmark
Dingshan Digital Intelligence Industrial Park is located between the two main roads, Jiangbei Avenue and Yanshan Avenue. The total construction area of the first phase project is nearly 30,000 square meters. It is 500 meters away from the Pearl Spring East Station of Metro Line 4 (under construction), and it takes only 10 minutes by car to cross the river and 20 minutes to reach the North Station.
Since the project was initiated, it has faced multiple challenges. The construction area is located in a narrow and long zone where multiple projects converge, with a narrow access road. During the construction period, it has also encountered consecutive adverse weather conditions, which have had a considerable impact on the construction progress.
To break the deadlock and solve the problems, Dingshan Sub-district took the lead in forming a special coordination team, working in collaboration with the New District Public Construction Center and other parties including construction and supervision. They actively coordinated with surrounding projects to “borrow land and access roads”, arranged for trucks to transport materials at different times, and ensured the supply of materials. At the same time, coordinate and optimize the water supply plan, guide the construction unit to install temporary water tanks on site, and ensure continuous water supply.
Not only should we focus on progress, but also ensure safety and quality. The project team has established a daily meeting mechanism to solve problems dynamically discovered on site in real time, such as drawing connection and material supply.
We will never slacken in safety. We will assign dedicated personnel to supervise key construction links and strictly adhere to the norms and standards. During the hot season, a “staggered construction” plan will be implemented and sufficient heatstroke prevention supplies will be provided. During the rainy season, construction was carried out by adding rain-proof facilities and optimizing the connection of construction processes to minimize the impact of weather to the greatest extent. Eventually, the project was successfully topped out.
Personalized customization, precise investment promotion and targeted efforts
While promoting the project construction, the park’s investment promotion work has also been simultaneously laid out and taken early action. Centering on the positioning of “high technological content and good development support”, efforts are being made to attract a batch of high-quality projects with high output value, high driving capacity and great development potential, such as Junli Technology and Xiangsi Dou Food.
For enterprises that have already expressed cooperation intentions, the investment promotion team of Dingshan Sub-district has innovated its service model, established a special working group, and intervened in advance during the project carrier design stage. They have optimized and adjusted the carrier design plan based on the actual production needs of the enterprises, reduced the renovation costs for the enterprises after their subsequent entry, improved the efficiency of project implementation, and achieved “personalized customization” services.
In addition, the investment promotion team has been actively expanding resource channels. On the one hand, they have been working closely with platform institutions such as the New District Venture Capital Fund and the Yangtze River Legal Affairs Zone to identify high-quality enterprises with investment intentions. On the other hand, they have been collaborating with local universities to explore the convergence point between the transformation of scientific research achievements and the development of the park’s industries, attracting technology projects incubated by universities to settle down. Meanwhile, the team also took the initiative to contact enterprises within the jurisdiction and actively attracted their upstream and downstream supporting enterprises, further strengthening regional industrial synergy and mutual promotion and common progress.
The rapid advancement of the project and the layout of investment promotion are crucial steps for Dingshan Sub-district to transform from a “service support area” to an “industrial function area”. We look forward to accelerating the subsequent construction and investment promotion work, striving to achieve the early settlement of enterprises and the realization of production and efficiency, and adding new impetus to the regional economic development
