Recently, the Xiaguan Riverside Business District held a 2025 work seminar.
On December 20, all cadres of Xiaguan Riverside Business District went to Jinling STYLE Romantic Center , Jiangxinzhou Planning and Construction Exhibition Hall, Jiangdao New World and Yangtze River Pilotage Center to conduct on-site inspections and investigations on urban planning and design, cultural, commercial and tourism integration projects and shipping unit development.
On December 28, Xiaguan Binjiang Business District organized a meeting for exchange. Xu Xiaohua, secretary of the Party Working Committee of Xiaguan Binjiang Business District, presided over the meeting, and Xu Cheng, member of the District Party Committee and Minister of the Propaganda Department, attended the meeting. At the meeting, responsible persons from various departments and Gulou Binjiang Group spoke on the work ideas, key projects, and promotion measures for 2025. The leaders in charge of the Party Working Committee and Management Committee of Xiaguan Binjiang Business District exchanged views on the work in their respective areas.
Ming Jinsong, director of the Management Committee, made comprehensive arrangements for the work of the Management Committee in 2025: First, we must speed up the relocation process to further release regional development space; second, we must accelerate infrastructure construction to further enhance regional urban functions; third, we must innovate ideas and methods to further revitalize idle land in the region; fourth, we must speed up industrial investment promotion to further promote economic and social development; fifth, we must optimize service guarantees to further ensure overall safety and stability.
Xu Xiaohua, secretary of the Party Working Committee , analyzed the development situation of Xiaguan Binjiang in 2025, and emphasized the requirements of “four highlights” around how to focus on the work in the new year : First, highlight the implementation of industries . We must grasp projects, work hard, and innovate methods to ensure that industrial development achieves greater benefits and results; second, highlight the resolution of contradictions. We must actively resolve relocation contradictions, funding contradictions, and development contradictions, make full use of policy opportunities, and further broaden the development path; third, highlight target management . We must unify our thinking, make detailed arrangements, and boost our spirits, fully focus on indicators, and further improve the contribution of the Xiaguan Binjiang section to the high-quality development of the entire district; fourth, highlight the level of governance . We must focus on urban governance, social governance, and internal governance, vigorously improve the regional appearance, make every effort to ensure safety and stability, and actively improve work efficiency.
Xu Cheng, member of the district committee and head of the Propaganda Department, made a summary speech. Minister Xu fully affirmed the progress and achievements made by the Xiaguan Binjiang Business District, and pointed out the following points regarding the work in 2025: First, we must be good at grasping changes and trends. The current macro-environment and economic situation have undergone major changes, and the industrial logic and work orientation have also undergone corresponding changes. We must keep up with the trend of the times and seize new opportunities in the midst of change. Second, we must vigorously unite the people and form a consensus. We must further unify our thinking, clarify the path, and take development as the fundamental strategy for solving problems. All staff must focus on the economy and projects, dare to break the traditional mindset, and responsibly resolve all kinds of contradictions. Third, we must carefully tell stories and integrate resources. We must connect industry stories, cultural stories, and ecological stories, actively strive for policy preferences and resource investment, improve work skills, and always take the initiative. Fourth, we must be brave in innovation and breakthroughs and promote change. We must adhere to a correct view of political achievements, considering both the present and the long-term. We must concentrate our efforts on major tasks, focus our resources on making breakthroughs, build regional commercial facilities at a higher level, and strive to showcase the most resource-intensive, richest, and most representative sections of Nanjing’s Yangtze River coastline, fully demonstrating the location advantages and land value.
2025 is the final year of the 14th Five-Year Plan. Xiaguan Riverside Business District will remain firm in its confidence and stick to its goals. With full spirit and a pragmatic style, it will transform the results of the meeting into concrete measures and actions, strive to complete various work tasks in the new year, and contribute greater strength to the high-quality development of the entire district.
