Recently, the 9,000-ton ultra-low energy consumption building fastener project of Meigu Handewei (Nanjing) Metal Technology Co., Ltd. was officially put into production in Jingqiao Town. From the start of construction to production, it only took three months. This efficient “Jingqiao speed” has won high praise from the enterprise.
The rapid implementation of this project is a microcosm of Jingqiao Town’s focus on industrial upgrading and optimization of the business environment. As an important front for the green transformation of Lishui District, Jingqiao Town has focused on core industries such as big health, intelligent manufacturing, and medical devices. It has precisely attracted investment to promote the agglomeration of upstream and downstream industries, and is striving to build a “innovative manufacturing + smart healthcare” industrial cluster with significant influence in China. Since 2023, 18 real economy enterprises have officially settled in the town, with a total investment of approximately 5.6 billion yuan, injecting strong impetus into the construction of the new Jingqiao that is “led by ecological economy and demonstrated by green transformation”.
Targeted investment promotion efforts are being intensified, and diverse business forms are accelerating their aggregation
Recently, Nanjing Smart Health and Wellness Innovation Park has witnessed a new round of concentrated settlement of enterprises. Five high-tech enterprises, including Shenzhen Yuanfa Automation Equipment Co., LTD., Xinxian Optoelectronics Co., Ltd. and Yingye Optoelectronics Co., LTD., are stepping up the installation and commissioning of equipment. With a total investment of approximately 4.7 billion yuan, they are focusing on emerging fields such as optoelectronic display, electronic information and smart wearables. All the first-phase projects are scheduled to be completed and put into operation early next year. After reaching full production capacity, it is expected that the annual output value can reach 5 billion yuan, which will further improve the regional industrial chain layout.
At present, the industrial agglomeration effect of the park is becoming increasingly prominent. Eight enterprises have gathered in Area E, and 12 enterprises in Area A have also been put into operation. Especially in the medical and health sector, intelligent pharmaceutical logistics enterprises such as Puqian Medicine, Borui Technology, and Zhongjin Weiya Medicine have achieved stable production.
In recent years, Jingqiao Town has continuously optimized its industrial ecosystem, focusing on building a logistics service cluster for pharmaceuticals and medical devices. It has successively introduced a number of high-quality enterprises such as Jiangsu No.1 Changda Medicine and Yong ‘an Medicine. In 2024, the annual output value of the pharmaceutical logistics industry in Jingqiao Town exceeded 500 million yuan, and it is expected to soar to 1.5 billion yuan by 2025.
Since the beginning of this year, Jingqiao Town has further optimized its market-oriented investment promotion mechanism, made good use of industrial maps such as pharmaceutical distribution and ship parts, promoted the “headquarters + base” and “R&D + manufacturing” models, and implemented “partner park” joint investment promotion with Lishui Economic Development Zone and Lishui Environmental Group. It has attracted 11 projects with an investment of over 100 million yuan and has 10 enterprises with an investment of over 100 million yuan in reserve for signing. Meanwhile, dedicated teams provided services to ensure the progress of the projects. All three major municipal projects and 17 key industrial projects in the districts have started construction.
Revitalize inefficient land and rejuvenate it through “replacing the old with the new”
Nanjing Smart Health and Wellness Innovation Park, as a major municipal project, is jointly built by Jingqiao Town and Lishui Environmental Group. With a total construction area of 205,000 square meters, it is constructed in three phases across three areas. This project, through the revitalization and utilization of the inefficient industrial land in the former Guanshan Chemical Industry Park, is committed to creating a high-standard manufacturing carrier integrating manufacturing production, research and development pilot production, and scientific research incubation.
In Area E of the park, the three newly settled enterprises, Meigu Handewei, Yuanfan Shipbuilding and Zhenhe Shipbuilding, have revitalized a total of 82.5 mu of industrial land and 15,000 square meters of idle factory buildings. In recent years, Jingqiao Town has been deeply implementing the “Replacing old industries with new ones” plan, combining the revitalization of idle factories in the Guanshan Industrial Zone with investment promotion. A number of high-quality enterprises have settled in, and a total of over 400 mu of low-efficiency industrial land and more than 100,000 square meters of idle factories have been revitalized, injecting new impetus into the development of the entire town.
