Recently, the B plot of the South Station 5G+ Innovation Park successfully completed the topping out of the main structure and entered the stage of mechanical and electrical installation.


The B plot of the South Station 5G+ Innovation Park Project is located south of Dingqiang Road and east of Ludu Avenue, and it is a key project in Nanjing City. The project covers an area of approximately 27,000 square meters and consists of two main buildings and a basement. Among them, Building B1 has 28 floors and a height of 130 meters. Building B2 has 18 floors and a height of 81.15 meters. The total construction area of the project exceeds 200,000 square meters.

According to Liu Zhijian, the on-site project chief engineer of the construction unit, China Construction Eighth Engineering Division, during the construction of the building, a combined aluminum alloy formwork construction system was adopted, significantly improving the quality of concrete structure formation, achieving “one-time structure formation”, and minimizing structural dimensional deviations. The adoption of the combined process of “galvanized fish-scale steel mesh + aerated rods” significantly enhances the strength and appearance quality of concrete.

The project also adopted a new type of prefabricated steel truss floor deck, which served as the bottom formwork of the floor slab during the main construction stage, achieving rapid connection between factory prefabrication and on-site installation. Compared with traditional methods, it has advantages such as no need for formwork removal and fewer supports. During the construction process, multiple types of construction robots were put into use on site to enhance the technological content of intelligent construction.
With the main structure topping out project fully entering the stage of mechanical and electrical installation and decoration and renovation, it is expected that all the construction work will be completed by November next year

The B plot of the Nan Station 5G+ Innovation Park project is developed and constructed by Nanjing Software Valley Science and Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Co., LTD. The project includes a super high-rise scientific research office building and a high-rise scientific research office building. After the project is completed, it will leverage the geographical advantage of the South High-speed Railway Station, focus on developing the software and information service industry, and lay out the digital economy. At the same time, it will help Yuhuatai District build a “dual-core” spatial structure system of the new riverside and digital city, creating a new benchmark and generating new impetus for the future economic and industrial development of Nanjing City.
