The 2025 World Intelligent Manufacturing Conference, hosted by the People’s Government of Jiangsu Province and the International Intelligent Manufacturing Alliance, will be held in Nanjing from November 27th to 29th. On November 20th, it was learned from the second press conference of the conference that this year’s conference is themed “Digital Intelligence Driving New Quality Leading”. During the conference, one main conference, one market-oriented exhibition, and 12 special activities will be held. At the same time, enterprises such as Dassault and JD.com, as well as key industrial parks, will hold 16 industrial ecosystem activities.
At the press conference, Fang Haiyan, deputy director of the Nanjing Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, introduced that this conference will gather nearly 200 important guests including domestic and foreign academicians, entrepreneurs and heads of internationally renowned institutions. It is expected that the total number of attendees will be close to 2,000. Representatives from the consulates of Uzbekistan, Bulgaria, Serbia, Greece, Hungary, Canada, New Zealand and other countries in Shanghai, as well as representatives from key central enterprises such as AVIC, China Electronics Technology Group Corporation, State Grid Corporation of China, China Electronics Corporation, Harbin Electric Corporation, Dongfang Electric Corporation, Baowu Group and China Resources Group, nearly 30 academicians from home and abroad will gather in Nanjing. Deeply explore the latest development trends, cutting-edge technologies and innovative application cases in the field of intelligent manufacturing, providing forward-looking ideas and directions for the global development of intelligent manufacturing.
The theme conference is scheduled to be held at the Nanjing International Expo Center on the morning of November 27th, featuring guest speeches, major announcements, and keynote speeches. Academician Zhou Ji, Honorary Chairman of the International Intelligent Manufacturing Alliance, Academician Yang Huayong, Chairman of the International Intelligent Manufacturing Alliance, Yu Xubo, Chairman of General Electric Group, Zhang Wenwu, General Manager of CITIC Group, Uwe Loebel, Executive Vice President of Bosch Group, Susan Hughes, Global President of Emerson Flow Measurement, and others will focus on the cutting-edge achievements of intelligent manufacturing to share their insights and the latest practices. At the meeting, the appointment ceremony of the new National Special Committee on Intelligent Manufacturing will also be held, the latest achievements of the gradient cultivation of intelligent factories will be interpreted, and the 2025 series of blue books on intelligent manufacturing will be released.
At the theme conference, the International Alliance for Intelligent Manufacturing will continue to release the top ten scientific and technological advancements in intelligent manufacturing worldwide and in China (referred to as the “Double Ten” scientific and technological advancements). As the latest achievement focusing on the cutting-edge and breakthrough aspects of intelligent manufacturing technology, the “Double Ten” Science and Technology Progress aims to leverage its practical value in promoting industrial upgrading, enhancing manufacturing efficiency, and facilitating green development, and to actively contribute to the advancement of intelligent manufacturing both globally and in China. Liang Ying, the secretary-general of the International Alliance for Intelligent Manufacturing, introduced that in addition to the “Double Ten” scientific and technological progress, this conference will also hold an intelligent manufacturing scientific and technological progress exchange forum concurrently, gathering enterprises that have made it to the “Double Ten” scientific and technological progress achievements, and showcasing the latest breakthroughs in the field of intelligent manufacturing. It is reported that during the conference, major special events such as the Annual Meeting of the National Expert Committee on Intelligent Manufacturing and the Annual Meeting and Council of the International Intelligent Manufacturing Alliance will also be held. These special events will be organized and planned in collaboration with national-level institutions such as the China Association for Science and Technology Intelligent Manufacturing Society Consortium, the Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence, and the Society of Automotive Engineers of China. Invite authoritative industry experts and enterprise representatives to jointly discuss the cutting-edge hotspots and development trends in the field of intelligent manufacturing. This conference places greater emphasis on practical experience, opening up a “training ground” for the application and implementation of intelligent manufacturing. It is learned that the market-oriented exhibition held concurrently with the conference has for the first time taken the International Intelligent Manufacturing Alliance as the organizer and has for the first time cooperated with Messe Stuttgart to set up an international invited exhibition area. The total exhibition area is 55,000 square meters, featuring four exhibition halls: the robot Hall, the intelligent factory hall, the industrial software and system Solutions Hall, and the intelligent Equipment Hall. It has attracted 452 enterprises from 18 countries and regions including Germany, the United States, Denmark, Sweden, South Korea, Switzerland, France, and the Netherlands to participate. In addition, during the exhibition, a series of special events such as financial roadshows, new product launches, technical exchanges, and industry-education cooperation will be held to facilitate supply and demand matching and win-win cooperation among the upstream and downstream of the industrial chain.
