In just two years, Shiqiu has settled in two universities, showing the vigorous development vitality of the city of Lishui! Bao Yandong sighed that in 2015, when he first came to Shiqiu, the Shijiuhu Bridge was opened to traffic, in 2017, the subway S9 flew past near the company, in 2019, Jiangsu Second Normal settled in Shiqiu, and in 2021, Pujiang College of Nanjing University of Technology settled in Shiqiu, these major events all occurred along the G235 Expressway near the company, highlighting the city’s progressive posture.
The vitality of urban development has given Bao Yandong the impetus to forge ahead. She led the team to be busy with design, communication, and customer talks, and her daily work was arranged in an orderly and full manner. “In recent years, more and more outsiders like me have come to work in New Henderson and settled in Lishui, and everyone likes this city more and more!” Bao Yandong said

In recent years, the new Henderson has continued to grow and develop, and its R&D strength has attracted much attention, and it has successfully ranked among the ranks of “National Specialized and New Little Giant Enterprises”, and has become “Jiangsu Province Special Metal Pipe Fittings Engineering Technology Research Center” and “Jiangsu Province Provincial Enterprise Technology Center”. Bao Yandong, who leads the development of new products, new processes and new technologies of the company, has also matured step by step and become the “head” of the new Henderson’s technology.
Over the past 10 years, Bao Yandong’s team has carried out a number of R&D projects to drive sales and improve efficiency through innovation. Among them, more than 10 “first reactor and first piece” products, such as the sodium-cooled fast reactor second-circuit sodium distributor and the sodium-cooled fast reactor air cooler ring tube collector, have been developed and produced to fill the domestic gap; “Preparation technology and products of nuclear-grade space multi-bend heat transfer tube bundle for high-temperature gas-cooled reactor evaporator” has been appraised by China Nuclear Energy Industry Association, which is the first in the world and has reached the international advanced level. Xinhengji has become the core supplier of Shanghai Electric, Dongfang Electric and Harbin Electric Heavy Equipment. Last year, the company’s sales reached 200 million yuan, and it is expected that this year’s annual sales will reach 300 million yuan.
In recent years, Shiqiu Street has accelerated the transformation and upgrading of traditional industries, focusing on the establishment of a support mechanism for the cultivation of science and technology enterprises, and accelerating the construction of an intelligent manufacturing equipment industry cluster. “The street encourages us to increase investment in key technology research and development, and promote industry-university-research cooperation between enterprises and universities, so that technical talents like us have a broader stage and better stimulate the scientific and technological innovation potential of enterprises!” Bao Yandong believes that Lishui is an exciting city and a hot spot for all kinds of talents to realize their dreams.
