On March 25, Zhou Hongbo, Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee, met with Pascal Van Haast, Chairman of the German Souscherbo Group.
In 2001, the only Chinese manufacturing base and R&D center of the group was set up in Nanjing, which has grown rapidly in recent years and has become a vivid epitome of the healthy development of German-funded German enterprises in Nanjing.
During the meeting, Zhou Hongbo expected that the SUSbo would better play the leading role of the industrial chain, drive upstream and downstream investment and the agglomeration of ecological partner enterprises, and said that Nanjing will continue to create a market-oriented, law-based and international business environment, and support all kinds of enterprises to become bigger and stronger.
Van Haast spoke highly of Nanjing’s business environment, government services, and human resources, and said that he would take root in Nanjing for a long time, continue to expand investment, and develop together with Chinese partners.
City leaders Lin Tao and Jiang Min, and Oliver Kim, president of SUSbo Group, attended the meeting.
