On December 18, Frank Stenberg, CEO of the German Phoenix Contact Group, and his delegation came to Lishui to inspect the construction of the Phoenix Lishui base. Zhang Yun, secretary of the district committee, Gu Jiandang, president of Phoenix Contact China, and Liu Jia, member of the district committee and secretary of the development zone party working committee, attended the meeting.
Phoenix Contact Group is the core promoter of Germany’s Industry 4.0. It has been deeply involved in the fields of electrification, digitalization and automation for a century. Its Chinese company is headquartered in Nanjing. After 30 years of development, it has become the largest overseas R&D and production base of the group. Phoenix Lishui Base is located in the development zone. The first phase of the investment is 170 million yuan. It mainly builds 7 AC and DC charging gun production lines, 9 body socket production lines, and 1 liquid-cooled high-power charging gun production line. It has an annual production capacity of 1 million AC and DC charging guns and 1 million sets of body charging sockets. It is expected that after it goes into production in June 2025, the annual output value will reach 470 million yuan and the annual tax revenue will reach 16 million yuan.
During the inspection, Phoenix Contact Group CEO Frank Stenberg visited the project construction progress on site and said that Lishui has a solid industrial foundation and a superior business environment. He is full of confidence in the Lishui project and will further accelerate the project construction and integrate it into the Lishui new energy vehicle industry chain to achieve mutual benefit and win-win results for the upstream and downstream industries.
Zhang Yun asked relevant departments to continuously optimize services for enterprises, help solve difficulties, and promote early production and early results of projects. He said that he would give full play to the advantages of Lishui’s new energy vehicle industry, actively promote upstream and downstream collaboration in the industrial chain, and promote the local sales and matching of products of local enterprises such as Phoenix to form a new profit growth point.
In recent years, Lishui has established a system in which district leaders are in charge of contacting enterprises, innovated the integrated model of the “Five Offices” of Investment Promotion Office, Project Office, Government Affairs Office, Special Advisory Office, and Performance Management Office, and implemented the simultaneous issuance of “Five Certificates” such as construction land planning permits and real estate ownership certificates. The average start-up time of major projects has been reduced from about 9 months to about 5 months; the district’s business environment complaint and supervision center has been operated in an entity manner, promoting the “three full coverages” of service specialists, visits to thousands of enterprises, and “one-book guide” for enterprise-friendly policies; it regularly holds “6th day” entrepreneur service day activities, conducts questionnaire surveys on enterprises above the designated size, and has helped enterprises solve 169 problems in total.
