Seek business opportunities, win orders, and promote exports November 4 The 136th China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair) Successfully concluded in Guangzhou. In this hot trade event Lishui District Bureau of Commerce organized16 representative companies participated in the exhibition Further expanding the overseas circle of friends of “Made in Lishui” Fruitful harvest.
This year’s Canton Fair was held in three phases from October 15 to November 4, focusing on the three major themes of “Advanced Manufacturing”, “Quality Home” and “Better Life”. A total of 16 companies including Skyworth Electric and King Long Bus participated in the exhibition in Lishui District, with 60 booths, an increase of 33% and 25% respectively over the previous Canton Fair, covering more than 10 exhibition areas such as household appliances, power, power equipment, processing machinery and equipment, building materials, toys, etc. The number of participating companies and booths increased significantly, setting a record.

Skyworth Electric
In the home appliance exhibition area, Skyworth Electric, a leading enterprise in the smart home industry chain in our region, concentrated on displaying a rich variety of white appliances. The scale of its booth ranked second among the home appliance exhibition area . Among them, more than 30 products including zero-embedded refrigerators, dual-drive compartment washing machines, 1KG mini washing machines, etc. were new product debuts and the latest differentiated products in the field of smart home appliances, attracting the attention of domestic and foreign buyers.
As an old Canton Fair exhibitor for nine consecutive years, Skyworth Electric Appliances has returned with a full load every time. “We brought more than 60 refrigerator and washing machine products to the Canton Fair this time to show our new achievements in green, smart and fashionable home appliances to global merchants.” Tang Changjun, the relevant person in charge of the company, introduced that Skyworth Electric Appliances has continued to increase its R&D efforts to further enhance the international competitiveness of Skyworth’s smart electrical appliances and accelerate the expansion of overseas e-commerce channels and customers.
During the five-day exhibition, Skyworth Electric received more than 300 overseas customers, and reached intention orders for 82,000 units with a value of 80 million yuan on site . The customers mainly came from Southern Europe, the Middle East and other places, as well as countries along the “Belt and Road”, including 40 new customers .
King Long Bus
At the Canton Fair, the “green storm” of new energy swept the world. In the new energy vehicle and smart travel exhibition area, there was an endless stream of merchants in front of the booth of King Long Bus, a leading enterprise in the new energy vehicle industry chain in our region.
King Long has started its overseas layout of new energy vehicles since 2011. “The Canton Fair provides a good platform for us to increase our presence in overseas markets. This time we exhibited a garbage truck and a new energy SUV, and received many orders.” The relevant person in charge of the company said happily that the exhibition received more than 350 overseas customers, including more than 250 customers who intended to stay, and received orders of 35 million yuan , mainly from Central Asia, West Asia, Africa and other regions.
Wande Sports
In the sports and tourism leisure products exhibition area of this Canton Fair, creative products emerge in an endless stream. As an “old Canton Fair”, Nanjing Wande Sports Industry Group Co., Ltd. in our district brought its latest developed outdoor multifunctional climbing exhibits to the exhibition, becoming one of the “popular kings” in the exhibition area. Among them, innovative selling points such as patented aluminum alloy fasteners, modular design, and theme customization have attracted many potential customers. A total of 150 customers have been received, mainly from Russia, Saudi Arabia, India and other countries, with intended orders exceeding US$5 million .
Six representative enterprises of the “CNC machine tool + cross-border e-commerce” industrial belt in our district, including Xieyi Machinery, Aifoin CNC, and Kraus CNC,
also appeared in the Canton Fair as a group, and traded with the world “online + offline”, receiving nearly 1,000 merchants in total and obtaining orders of 20 million yuan . Among them, Baiguan Machinery, Jinqiu CNC, and Hansen Machinery, which participated in the fair for the first time, won the “first battle” and obtained orders of 60,000 US dollars. “Under the current market situation, it has become a broad consensus for enterprises to go overseas. In addition to developing cross-border e-commerce business, large exhibitions such as the Canton Fair also provide a good platform and opportunity for enterprises to go overseas.” A relevant person in charge of Hansen Machinery said.
During the Canton Fair, leading industrial chain enterprises in our district made a group appearance, demonstrating the hard-core strength of Lishui’s advanced manufacturing industry. According to statistics, the 16 participating enterprises received more than 3,000 visitors and obtained intention orders of 220 million yuan .
Next, the District Bureau of Commerce will firmly implement the “Lishui District Enterprise Overseas Action Plan” , make full use of the “Lishui District’s Several Policy Measures to Assist Enterprises and Empower and Promote the Continued Recovery of the Economy” , and continue to actively use major exhibition platforms to help companies obtain more booths, display new products, find new business opportunities, meet new customers, and expand new markets, and go all out to promote the high-quality development of our district’s foreign trade.
