On October 28, Han Liming, Secretary of the CPC Nanjing Municipal Committee, held a meeting with Dr. Steffen Metzger and Dr. Stefan Stefan Staubach, CEOs of Heraeus Precious Metals, a German-funded company, in Nanjing.
Ms. Han extended her congratulations to Heraeus on the occasion of the company’s 50th anniversary in China. She highlighted Nanjing’s efforts in promoting the transformation of the petrochemical and new materials industries, improving the resource recycling system, and actively and steadily advancing the carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals. Meanwhile, She expressed hope that Heraeus would further increase its research and development investment in the city, actively engage in and deepen cooperation in fields such as hydrogen energy and medical health, better play the role of an industry leader, and drive the upgrading of the upstream and downstream of the industrial chain, thereby supporting local industrial and technological innovation. Heraeus Precious Metals is a globally renowned leader in the precious metals industry. Since its inception in 2018, its Nanjing factory has experienced rapid growth and plans to increase investment for renovations recently.
