At the 2024 World New Energy and New Materials Conference held in Ordos, Inner Mongolia, the Hurun Research Institute released the “2024 Hurun China Top 100 New Material Enterprises List”, listing the most valuable non-state-owned enterprises in the field of new materials in China. Baowu Magnesium Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Baowu Magnesium”) successfully made the list, ranking 45th.
New materials refer to the emerging materials with excellent properties and special functions, as well as the materials with significantly improved properties or new functions after the improvement of traditional materials, which involve a wide range of materials and are classified in various categories. According to the enterprises served by new materials, they are mainly divided into three categories: advanced basic materials, key strategic materials, and cutting-edge materials.This time, Baowu Magnesium has successfully ranked among the top 100 and ranked firmly in the advanced basic materials sector with its complete industrial chain layout of “dolomite mining-primary magnesium smelting-magnesium alloy smelting-magnesium alloy precision casting, deformation processing-magnesium alloy regeneration and recycling” and a strong product development and manufacturing system.
Baowu Magnesium, formerly known as Yunhai Metal, was established in 1993, listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange in 2007, and renamed Baowu Magnesium Technology Co., Ltd. in September 2023, which is a first-class subsidiary of China Baowu.
