Walking into the production workshop of Xinwanda Lishui Base, the mechanical arm swings accurately in the air, the AGV car shutges freely, and the production line runs at full load. Even more impressive is the “twisting into a rope” effort on the production line.
In the first half of the year, Xinwanda continued to maintain a “leader” attitude in the core HEV (hybrid) track, delivering more than 520,000 units in total, ranking in the forefront of domestic supply.
“The biggest bright spot in the first half of the year was in the manufacturing end.” Production director Xu Huadong difficult to hide excitement. In order to cope with the order peak, the company specially set up a “war room” for special management, and made breakthroughs in the industrialization to mass production climbing and lean standardization, and the production line climbing efficiency has exceeded the industry benchmark level. “This means that no matter how urgent a customer’s order is, we have the confidence to take it and deliver it well.” This confidence comes from the innovation of management. Through the implementation of the “achievement reward” mechanism and the combination of “Amoeba matrix cell management”, each team has become an independent “operation”.
Yang Li, who is in charge of production scheduling, said with a smile: “People are no longer waiting for work, but take the initiative to calculate the accounts. There’s a lot of pressure to deliver, but morale is higher because the results are the direct result of what you’re doing, and everyone is motivated.” After the sense of ownership was stimulated, even in the face of high-standard orders from the head car companies, Xinwanda still showed strong delivery support capabilities.
As a wholly owned subsidiary of Xinwanda Power Technology, Nanjing Xinwanda Production Base has grown into an industry “unicorn” with more than 5000 employees and a registered capital of 2.68 billion yuan since it settled in Lishui in 2019. It has been included in the 5G Factory List of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and has many honors such as “National Green Factory” and “Advanced Manufacturing Plant in Jiangsu Province”. At present, the company has not only established deep cooperation with domestic and foreign head car enterprises, but also driven a large number of high-quality projects such as Longtian Huanxin and Presise to settle in the surrounding area, becoming the “strong magnet” of Lishui industry agglomeration.
The “double half” is the starting point of the second half of the sprint. Nanjing Xinwanda has a clear goal: to strive to deliver 1.4 million HEV units for the whole year, and continue to consolidate its leading advantage in the field of hybrid vehicles.
“Drive alone is not enough, we also need to have ‘wisdom’ to win the future.” The person in charge of the company revealed that in the second half of the year, it will fully benchmark the “lighthouse factory” standard, accelerate the construction of intelligent factories, actively embrace AI technology, and deeply integrate artificial intelligence into the whole process of research and development, production and management. “From machine vision quality inspection to intelligent scheduling, we hope to make the factory not only ‘big’ but also ‘smart’ through digital intelligence empowerment.”
On the track of new energy, Nanjing Xinwanda’s second half is more worth looking forward to!
