Recently, Xioend Computing Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Xioend”) announced the completion of a round of financing of several hundred million yuan in the Pre-A+ stage and successfully settled in Jiangbei New District of Nanjing.
This round of financing was led by Yida Capital, and was jointly participated by multiple institutions such as Junshan Capital, Ruisheng Capital, Shengxiang Capital, Yuntai Capital, Haishi Capital, Nan Capital, and Yangzi Fund. The raised funds will be mainly used to accelerate the chip fabrication process, improve the product verification system, and provide strong support for subsequent market promotion.
HioTech was founded in 2022. As a technology company specializing in the research and development of computing chips, its core business focuses on the cloud computing field, dedicated to developing high-performance, secure and reliable ARM Server CPUs and related solutions. At the same time, it explores technological innovations in the RISC-V CPU architecture, aiming to provide computing infrastructure that meets the market demands of the Chinese and global cloud computing industries.
Currently, HioTech is developing server processors for intelligent edge computing scenarios, adopting the ARM v9 architecture Neoverse V3 core, supporting mainstream AI workloads; integrating PCIe 6.0 interconnection interfaces to provide high-bandwidth data transmission capabilities; and providing a DDR5-8000 memory controller to meet the memory bandwidth requirements for large-scale model deployment.
It is worth noting that Xiouduan has officially settled in Nanjing Jiangbei New District. In the future, the company will leverage the local industrial foundation in the field of integrated circuit manufacturing and packaging, including the Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company’s Nanjing factory and Huatian Technology’s advanced packaging base, to accelerate technological research and development and local collaboration.
As an industrial powerhouse province, Jiangsu Province, and Jiangbei New District, the only national-level new district in the province, is continuously building artificial intelligence innovation carriers and open platforms to provide broad development space and excellent ecological support for cutting-edge computing technology enterprises.
