01 Steel Goes Global: “Scorching Hot”

At the beginning of the year, the China Iron and Steel Industry Association released a significant list – “Recommended Catalogue of Intelligent Manufacturing Solutions for the Steel Industry (2025)”. Several projects submitted by Nangang Steel were successfully selected. This catalogue aims to select high-value and replicable intelligent manufacturing solutions, providing support for compiling a list of typical digital scenarios, and promoting the digital transformation, improvement, and acceleration of the steel industry.
Those selected for the list are all excellent solutions recognized by the industry and experts. Whether it’s the digital intelligent factory for the entire steel production process or the integrated smart energy management, as the “top student” in the digital transformation of the industry, Nansteel has continuously set new benchmarks for the digital transformation of the steel industry.

In addition, the production lines at Nansteel are also extremely busy. Since the Spring Festival, a batch after another of pipeline steel has been produced and is now sailing across the ocean to be delivered worldwide. On February 16th, the sea vessel arrived at the port, and by February 20th, all the goods had been collected at the port. From the sports stadium in Saudi Arabia to infrastructure projects in Tanzania, and to bridges in Croatia, the steel from Nansteel is spanning the ocean and standing up the “Chinese backbone” in world landmark buildings. This is not only due to the booming orders, but also reflects the important role that “Jiangbei Manufacturing” plays in the global industrial chain.

02 Sales remain stable in the “10,000 Vehicle Club”

Turning our attention to the new energy vehicle sector, the Jiangbei New District base of Nansteel is also reporting good news frequently. The sales of MG4 exceeded 10,000 units again in January, and have remained in the “10,000 Vehicle Club” for five consecutive months.

The automotive market is highly competitive. MG4 has maintained sales of over 10,000 units for several consecutive months, which is inseparable from the complete automotive industrial chain in Jiangbei New District, the efficient and advanced production system and manufacturing process of Nanjing Automobile Jiangbei New District Base, as well as consumers’ recognition of the “New District Made” quality. The solid market data demonstrates the strength of “New District Made”.

03 Established Petrochemical Industry “Fine-Tuning” Shows Results

At Yangzi Petrochemical, the effects of a “qualitative change” are gradually becoming apparent. Since the beginning of this year, the output of high-value-added products at Yangzi Petrochemical has steadily increased, and the transformation has been quite remarkable.
As of now, the completion rate of new product-specific materials at Yangzi Petrochemical has reached 71.84%, exceeding the scheduled progress by 7 percentage points. From the planning stage to the implementation at the team level, from the fine-tuning of process parameters to the overall quality control, Yangzi Petrochemical has implemented the “high-end and specialized” transformation strategy in all production links. Through “meticulous cultivation”, the traditional petrochemical industry has regained new vitality.
In the new year, Nanhai Chemical Company also underwent a transformation.
The “white mist” emitted from the cooling tower has long been a visual problem plaguing the factory area. At the beginning of this year, Nanhua Company completed the first set of fog-reducing filler tower renovation, achieving zero fog emission from the cooling tower and making the “white mist” a thing of the past.
The “white fog” has vanished, replaced by the refreshing skyline of “zero fog” emissions. Not only has the environment improved, but the energy-saving and water-saving benefits have also been significant. A relevant official from Nanhai Chemical Company stated that one tower can save approximately 34,000 tons of water per year.
