Xiao Hua from Hunan is one of them, and he is mainly responsible for the industrial design of products. Xiao Hua still remembers the scene when he first came to Lishui in 2013: at that time, the area around Skyworth’s factory was still wasteland, and after more than 10 years of development, now the roads near the factory extend in all directions, and various industrial clusters in the development zone where they are located have risen. Xiao Hua is also “grinding a sword in ten years” in Lishui, and has grown from an ordinary industrial designer of Skyworth Electric to the manager of the industrial design center.

Originally from Henan, she gave up her job in Zhejiang and chose to come to Skyworth Electric Lishui Park. After 7 years of struggle, she is handy at work and has witnessed the rapid changes in Lishui. “I came to Lishui in 2017, the subway was opened in 2018, and Wanda and Haile City opened in the same year, and these changes are happening every day.”

In 2011, the first Skyworth refrigerator rolled off the production line; In 2013, the first Skyworth wave wheel washing machine rolled off the assembly line; In 2014, the first Skyworth drum washing machine rolled off the assembly line…… Over the years, Skyworth Electric’s refrigerators, washing machines and other new white goods products have emerged one after another, and major breakthroughs have been made one after another, all of which are inseparable from the company’s R&D team of more than 220 people.
Li Shuqiang from Shaanxi is the manager of the refrigerator development department of Skyworth Electric Appliances and has been working in the company for more than 10 years. He said with deep feeling that Lishui attaches great importance to the introduction of talents, not only for high-level talents to build talent apartments, to provide housing purchases, rental subsidies and other talent housing policies, but also pay great attention to the training of scientific research personnel and technical personnel and professional title evaluation, which have benefited foreign technical talents a lot.
Rooted in Lishui for more than 10 years, Skyworth Electric has continued to grow, and its sales revenue has increased year after year, from 1.7 billion yuan in 2013 to 5 billion yuan in 2023, showing a strong momentum of development. “These are largely due to the transportation location advantages of Lishui, whether it is an e-commerce platform or the delivery of goods in various cities, which have provided us with strong logistics support.” Li Lin, deputy general manager of Skyworth Electric Domestic Marketing Center from Anhui, introduced.
From enterprise managers to ordinary employees, everyone has chosen to settle down in Lishui, and their children go to school in Lishui, and the two-generation “new Lishui people” group is expanding.
“The education here is very good and well-equipped, both in terms of software and hardware. Li Lin said that his two children are now studying in the Lishui branch of Jinling Middle School and the Lishui branch of Youfu West Street Primary School, respectively, and he is very satisfied with the good teachers.
